Nothing in the hedge maze so far. Basement seems clean too, but there might be something to the tunnels beneath the mansion. They're pretty extensive, but I'm planning on taking another sweep. Hard to cover everything down there.

[Really, so much of the riddle just plain doesn't make sense to him -- like it's peppered with red herrings, except he can't pick what's really part of the riddle and what might just be there with the intention to mislead.]

It's complex enough that looking without having a solid answer might be our best option. Helps us figure out where it's not and narrow down the possible meanings of the riddle itself.
