She sits down across from him, mentally cursing her sister for setting her up on this date to begin with. She's not good at these things. At being social or making friends or any of it. Let alone dating. Is she supposed to compliment him? Tell him that she likes his choice of restaurant? Or just answer his questions?

Does the napkin go on her nap or can she act casually, like she was having a dinner at home with her family?

She takes the napkin off the table and places it on her lap. At the very least, it gives her something to play with.
