She does her best to beat her father to the fridge, not wanting him to have to do all the work. But her father's quick, like always, and she smiles and gives in, making herself utterly useless in the kitchen. She much prefers it to be the other way, actually doing something and helping her family. But she's almost certain that if her father got his way, none of the three Archer children would have to work a day in their lives.
She loves him so much for that.
And that makes it almost easier to busy herself with buttering up some bread for both of them than admit how her day's been. Because today's been... weird. Almost as if she's living someone else's life lately.
