A greeting is something that the Nightfury, generally, takes as a good sign when interacting with new vikings. Usually the bad signs are weapons being drawn, bodies being frozen, or strange yells. Toothless brightens a little, ears perking all the way forward as he very slowly starts to close the distance between them.

Toothless' stride is a great deal lengthier, and so it only takes two or three of his own. His body language is still relaxed, as he very slowly presses his snout against Lilly's hand and offers her a soft rumble of a greeting.
