Bucky opens his hand so the tags can be tossed back his way. He's wondered what he would do if Peggy showed up all of a sudden, but he thinks he knows. Maybe his tags always belonged to Steve, but he knows full well that Steve's tags belonged to someone else first.

He doesn't get a real answer out of Buck, but the avoidance is answer enough. He hums an acknowledgement.

"He cares about you too, you know. Doesn't really matter how. Whether or not you're worthy of that isn't your call to make." They might have led very different lives, but Bucky knows he's going nowhere fast. This kid might be brave and tough as he is mouthy, but it's clear that he doesn't think he's worth much, either.
