She sputters for half a moment, having expected a countdown at the very least, but she pushes off immediately after he does, running as fast as her legs can carry her-- which, by comparison, isn't very.

He keeps up easily enough, but Simon is already far ahead of the both of them, and by the time she reaches the house she's slowed down considerably, breathing heavily and looking even more put-out than before.
