[He's quiet as William speaks of David and that he's sorry about humanity. No amount of sorry would mean anything, but at the same time its because William is sorry that Gabriel chose him as one of his own. Those tears stinging at the edges of the Principates eyes are what make him worthy. That guilt and disappointment he feels. It doesn't change anything but it makes all the difference. The rest of humanity will defend its mistakes until it dies out and all that is left are the ones willing to repent and bring his father back. They will pay for what they've done and Wonderland will never shake his resolve in that.
