[OPEN] BEACH BONFIRE!
Who: Anyone who's everyone!
Where: The Beach
When: Evening of 2/27
Rating: PG for alcohol? Anything more serious, please put a heads up on your post :D
Summary: Darcy's working on getting closure on some things and opened it up to the entire mansion because some things are better done with a twist of fun. Besides, with the memory BS lately, she's guessing she's not the only one who could use a little relaxation.
The Story:

Summary: Darcy's working on getting closure on some things and opened it up to the entire mansion because some things are better done with a twist of fun. Besides, with the memory BS lately, she's guessing she's not the only one who could use a little relaxation.
The Story:

Setting Up
- It's a simple enough set-up, mostly just time consuming. A lot of the supplies she can get from the closets, having made a bonfire camp in one of the rooms on the 1st floor near the main entrance. She'd talked to Steve about closure and what better way to do that than with fire? Gathering the supplies, she stops counting how many trips she makes between the mansion and the beach after trip number 20. It's worth it, though.
Once both pits have been built for the bonfires and the wood arranged into kick-ass teepees, she gets started on setting up the mason jars. Arranging them around the beach and along the path down, she fills some with candles and other with the liquid from glowsticks once the sun starts to set. Some are placed in holders and others buried in the sand. To add to the colors, she adds some colored tea light candles to the mix.
The last piece to come down is the refrigerated food, loading up cooler after cooler. The small tables and carts get adjusted until they're just far enough apart that they're not too crowded, but still somewhat close to the bonfire. At each station there's glowing bowls of punch that are currently not spiked, although if someone looks in a few of the coolers, they might find supplies to do so.

Food
- She hadn't intended on going quite so overboard on the food, but it was easy enough to do. Opting for low prep work foods, she settles on ingredients for a few foil dinners also known as hobo dinners, an assortment of hot dogs and brats, makings for shish kabobs including steak, chicken, and shrimp along with an assortment of vegetables. There's also a huge amount of fixings for s'mores including quite a few different flavors of marshmallows. The food's scattered around the area in varying set-ups for easy access.
There's also little grills since some things are easier over smaller fires rather than larger ones.

Bonfire and Fireworks
- With night falling, the bonfires are lit and the music is cranked up. There's a mix of genres, a little something for everyone - everything somehow tying into parties, renewal, beaches, or fire. Did she spend way too much time prepping this? Probably. Does she care? No. As the night continues on, Darcy will make the rounds with paper and pens passing them out to make sure everyone who wants to do the thing has a chance.
There's nothing better than a fireworks show to wrap everything up, a successful end to a successful evening. So grab a blanket or a chair, and enjoy it.
