"The house helped," Simon answers, giving her a crooked smile, his eyes intent on her face as he pushes towards her, moving until he can slip into the space behind her, twining his arms about her waist as he settles in against her back, taking in the changed room with her.

"I thought, since you've been spending more time here, that it was time I changed some things to make it a little more comfortable for both of us."

Instead of just him. Which he hopes is implied, but he's never actually done this before so he's not exactly sure how.
