It's been a long, long day, and it's on the later side when Steve drops by the training area. He has no idea how long Wonderland will keep him this time, but what he can say with certainty is that he wants to put more of an effort into forming a team here. None of his newest recruits are actually here, but there are still plenty of people within Wonderland who are worthy of being called an Avenger.

His plan is to take stock of the training room and see if he needs to make any changes in it. He isn't expecting anyone to be there at this hour, but on his way down the hall he hears the distinct sound of fists pummeling a punching bag into oblivion.

It's a sound that he's pretty familiar with.

He pokes his head in and finds Carol there, hard at work. Speaking of honorary Avengers, she may as well top the list.

It's a toss-up whether or not she noticed he was gone, but he calls out to her anyway. For him, it's been a year since they last saw each other, and while he hadn't had the memories to miss her, there's a retroactive sort of missing going on.

"Do you ever sleep?" he teases from the doorway.
