Who: Nick Zerhakker and you!
Where: The gardens, the grounds, the roof.
When: The last week of May.
Rating: Shouldn't be worse than PG-13, with Nick's swear filter?
Summary: Nick is flying recon over Wonderland. Anything interesting out here?
The Story:
[The circumstances could be better. But Nick is never unhappy to get a chance to fly. He's an aircraft; in a quite literal sense he was made for this. With the Beastie Boys on his cabin speakers and clear skies overhead, he skims relatively low above the green fields and savors the wind under his wings.
He's sticking to the immediate surroundings of the mansion for now, mostly searching the gardens and lawns. He tries to stay far enough away that his (relatively quiet) rotors won't be obnoxious to other residents, but he's reluctant to venture into the forest, the hills, or the ocean until he knows exactly how far Wonderland will allow him to go. With the building as his center, he probes outward in short, leisurely flights, several times a day, returning to the roof whenever he gets bored of methodically scanning every last flowerbed. He keeps every piece of his considerable military-grade sensory array trained on the ground below, tracking visible, infrared, radar, heat, chemical signatures... he has no idea what, if anything, he'll find, but it's better than lazing around on the roof.
Whether he'll find that magic gem of Amethyst's is doubtful. While he's out here, though, he'll keep a (figurative) eye out for that stray dog, and try to get a feel for the lay of the land. If he spots anyone while out and about, there's a good chance he'll fly down to get a closer look, maybe land and say hello. Or, indeed, someone could meet him coming or going from the roof - you're free to ask for a ride, even, but be warned that standoffish Nick isn't the most hospitable pilot.]
