[the climb from here is a bit trickier. the next branch, gansey grabs with his hands and then walks his feet up the side of the tree to lever his leg up instead of lifting like a pull-up bar, because it's too wide for him to get a good grip around the other way. the next branch he has to lean out to grab, swinging as he pulls himself up.]
