"The news can wait to be dealt with when we need to handle it," Brennan counters with a soft smile, turning his face into Dorian's touch, pressing a kiss to the heel of his hand. "There's nothing we can do for it right now, so it can wait. What matters to me is that you're here, and back, and safe. And I suppose I can get away with being grateful that, despite how unwanted our kidnapping might have been, at least this place has offered us a respite from home to share together in exchange for our presence. It's not something I'm going to waste."
