[OPEN] I'm sinking like a restless stone
Who: Agent Carolina and YOU!
Where: Fitness Center
When: 12/11
Rating: PG
Summary: Carolina has spent most of her time working out since arriving in Wonderland and maybe needs to make some friends.
The Story:
[ If the fitness center is somewhere you go often, then you've probably noticed the redhead who seems to be there almost constantly. Sometimes she shows up in her high-tech cyan armour, but most days she's in civilian clothes and easy to recognize if, you know, you see her there all the time.
This is just what Carolina does. If she has down time, she works out. She trains. She works to improve herself. And especially now, since just before she was brought to Wonderland, she was knocked down to second best agent in her program, she's been training extra hard. Almost non-stop. It's kind of a problem. She needs to do normal-people things and relax once in a while, maybe even sleep instead of being a work-out machine. ]
At the weights; Morning;
[ She starts at the weights today since she'd saved them for last the other day. Stepping over toward them first thing in the morning, she eyes them for a few long moments with her green eyes, deciding what she wants to start with. Seeming to decide then, she grabs some impressively heavy weights with ease and begins lifting them, alternating arms. As she pumps iron, there's an opening for conversation if anyone wants to approach, though her attention doesn't seem to be on anyone in particular so much as it does seem to be on the far wall. ]
At the punching bags; Afternoon;
[ After her morning workout, which included much more than just the weights, by the way, Carolina had wandered out of the fitness center to get herself some lunch. Afterwards though, she's back. Dressed in an aqua tank top and black spandex pants, she heads directly for the punching bags this time. From her pockets, she produces hand wrappings that she got out of her closet on her first day here and starts to wrap them around her hands and wrists, one after the other, expertly. It's clear she's done this plenty of times. Here, there's an opportunity to approach her while she's wrapping, but it's not long before she steps up to the bag and raises her arms.
Once she starts, she attacks the bag almost viciously, like she's holding a personal grudge against it. Her hits are timed expertly and would do maximum damage if it were a human opponent on the other end of of fists. Depending on who's watching, it might be almost scary. But Carolina's used to this stuff, and she's good at it. It's her specialty; she knows what the hell she's doing. ]
Optional punching bag possibility;
[ While she's going at the bag with a vengeance, Carolina is focused. So focused, it's almost like she's got tunnel vision. She isn't aware of anything else around her--it's just her and the bag. That's how she misses that someone is approaching her. And that's how she ends up going in for a punch to the bag and ends up...hitting a person, instead. Whoops. Instantly recognizing the abnormal feeling beneath her knuckles, Carolina pulls back quickly and blinks. Tunnel vision gone, she sees what's happened and straightens up. ]
Oh-- That was unintentional. [ Obviously, she hopes. ] I'm sorry. Are you all right?
