_{[Victor is a regular in the library the way a churchgoer finds sanctuary in a place of worship. In the process of trying to avoid the monsters and various other things looking to ensnare him around the mansion, he turns to his usual haunt, but it, like most other areas, is just as affected.

Something he finds out the hard way when a goblin creature surprises him by jumping down onto the shelf he's browsing. The sounds of its impact startles a yelp out of him just as much as the sight of it.]}
