[The sight would be enough to turn even the strongest of stomachs true, so all of Wonderland is lucky it won't happen.]

You think so? [Because while some things change - two different Warden Couslands, the male and female Hawkes - no one has expected him to have never been a Warden yet. Or said that the Blight wasn't stopped in Ferelden or never even happened. Are those things too big to change or are some events inevitable and others aren't or is it just too complicated for him to have a hope of understanding? Probably that last one.

It'd be nice to know if anyone else has this problem or if their home is just weird.]
I guess that makes more sense than some of you just being weird.

[Maybe. It's hard to argue with her when she looks like that. Hard to argue with her but easy to see how she also raised an army against all obstacles without being ruthless or manipulative and why Duncan would have chosen to recruit her.]

I don't know what any of it meant but I should have written it down. [To randomly spout at people and see if anyone could enlighten him. Or just convince everyone from Thedas he's mad.] And who did you go out drinking with to try these things? [He smirks playfully at her as he asks, hardly in a position to criticise given he hasn't stayed sober all the time himself.]

Well, just let me know when you want to go. And we will. [He understands the need for space all too well. Staying one place after so long on the road is as strange as sleeping in an actual bed every night.] And if you want to be left alone just let me know when you're going out there and I'll stay away.

[There's not much point offering a private place without there being actual privacy. Especially as he's apparently a giant and takes up too much space. But a not unwelcome giant it would appear and so Alistair makes himself comfortable, leaning against the side of one of the pews and crossing his ankles in front of him.]

Meat? I think that's what they ate. I could just take it down to the kitchen and offer it a bit of everything to see what it likes. [That sounds like a good plan, right? A newly made griffon would know exactly what was safe for it to eat.]
