The absurdity of the line, as well as his attempts at flirtation are a bit too much for her to take seriously. It's such a strange situation that she can't do anything but laugh, covering her face as she attempts to brush off the awkwardness. He isn't sleazy, but more...adorable. Adorkable, that seemed like the appropriate word.

"Do lines like these work?" She asked him, giving him a wry grin. If he reminded her of anyone, it was Will Scarlett. He had a habit of making sly comments or flirtatious jokes. It was always refreshing, if not a bit indirect. These sorts of comments tended to mask a deeper secret or pain. If it helps him to make the jokes, she's willing to let him do so.
