It won't freak him out too bad, and Peter will appreciate having a heads up about people maybe already knowing who he is because they have read about him or seen a movie.

"Oh." People with powers is so new in his world as far as Peter knows. He has barely gotten a taste of how people react to it. Captain Stacy used to think he was a menace. Other people thought he was cool, and obviously everyone was scared of the Lizard Man, but who can blame them for that? "That... must seriously suck especially since powers can be kinda hard to control at least at first."

He really struggled to get a hold of his, and he remembers how those people on the subway thought he was a freak. Peter quiets though as Billy starts to use his powers. His mouth parts, and the smile on his face tugs a bit wider as he watches. Peter takes the book from him with a tiny wondrous laugh which escapes him in his amazement.
