While the reference to an old movie is dorky, it has the desired effect of helping Chloe understand better. It sounds crazy, just like the first time Max told Chloe of her super powers. But hey, that turned out to be super real... and even super fun. If Chloe had believed Max then that she was this time-travel warrior, then she can definitely believe her now when she says that they're in this multi-dimensional freak show called "Wonderland."

Chloe smiles at her best friend. "Okay, okay. I believe you, Maxfly. So, first you get super powers, then this enormous storms hits Arcadia Bay, and now we're in this creepy mansion that kidnaps people across time and space... Everything seems to happen to us, huh Max Caulfield?"
