It feels as if at least some of the blood that had rushed out of her cheeks at the thought that she was no longer in Kirkwall returns as soon as Brennan says that he doesn't only know where Garrett is, but that he actually knows him. If Garrett is here, then at least she won't be alone in a strange place.
