Garrett, at least, has the decency to loosen his grip when she squirms. He doesn't let her go entirely but he does stop crushing her. "You really don't," he answers, rather cryptically, before powering forwards, refusing to explain. Pulling back, he looks at Bethany, really looks at her, something strange coming across his expression.

"It's a long story. One I'll be more than happy to tell you, just... Just let me look at you for a moment?"
