Greeting them like an old friend, because they were, in a matter of speaking. Doing very little to affect the general narrative, because there's a script and everything's all rote, so why bother? Involving himself only when necessary.

Frisk doesn't think they have that kind of restraint. Or...apathy, or whatever it is. They'll throw themselves in harm's way in a heartbeat. And that's the problem.
