He gestures for her to enter the room. It's not as if there's anything private in there. He doesn't own anything that would be considered private and he certainly didn't bring anything like that with him here.

"Why would you suspect that?" he asks of her, trying his best not to look shifty and probably failing miserably. Deception is not his forte. Not that he's lied about anything.

He moves inside after her and goes to inspect this hamster, watching it run in the wheel. It looks like there's food in its dish and water in its bottle, so at least that's a start?
