Angel is the sort of person who's had to learn to take a lot of things on faith. Spend enough time with him, Alex, and you might get used to it-- or not, because sometimes such offers will always seem too good to be true, but he knows what it's like to be uncertain, to need help. He'll always offer it to anyone who seems like they might genuinely make good use of a second chance. He knows how much the opportunity to have one can change someone.
