At some point Max has to lie down. She covers her face with her hands until she stops shaking with laughter, lying on the floor like a drunkard.

She sits up and wipes tears from her eyes, looking at Frisk. Oh come on kid, she knows you liked it too. How could anyone not like that? They've literally done something neither of them could do on their own!

There's a little bit of bitterness though- that she'll never be able to go forwards because it's Frisk's SAVEs that are they key. And that she can't erase their SAVEs by rewinding over them. But all of that pales in comparison to the magnitude of what they just accomplished.

It's too good. It's so scary that it's fun.

She drags in a shaky breath, trying to suppress further laughter. "Uh-huh. That's not how I expected that to go."
