Alex hovers at the back of the place, as always - not his fault he's a walking EMP that will fuck up the screenings if he draws too close - alone, for the most part. That is, unless you're willing to deal with his irritated, pointedly loud commentary throughout the duration of the film:

"That was a good shot! That was a good shot! Why'd you cut away - no, no cut back, you plebians!"

"Does any shot in this movie last more than five goddamn seconds?"

"Another number about love, okay. How original."

"How 'bout you quit ripping off good music, huh? Yeah, I'm talking to you, Blow-Me Wan Kenobi!"

And so on.

The second film is much more his speed, and Alex is progresses from obnoxious heckler to vaguely interested viewer. He can appreciate the aesthetic, even if it's all a little too Gothic for his tastes. And speaking of tastes...

"Wow, that is super fucked up."
