[Regardless of if anyone is actually in the theater or not, at 8pm sharp Mettaton walks on stage in front of the drawn curtains in his first outfit of the night, looking smartly dressed as a robotic vampire.]
Welcome Beauties and Gentlebeauties to my second ever Wonderland exclusive performance! As I know we’re all here to celebrate one of the spookiest nights of the year, all music tonight will be Halloween themed or spooky in nature! Prepare to feel your flesh crawl and you heart beat out of your chest as we dance the night away!
[He steps to the edge of the stage and gives a long sweep of his arm towards the sides of the theater where the food tables can be found.]
As promised, you will find food and drink off to the side of the dance floor, helpfully provided by Wonderland once again. If you have already poked your head that direction, you may have noticed the candy bowls! “But Mettaton!” you may cry, “Aren’t we already inundated with candy?”
If you asked that, you would be right, darling! However, these bowls of mine aren’t quite like the ones you can find out and about in your daily travels! Half of the bowls are filled with candy from the closets that I suspect may be completely harmless to eat! The other half are the decorative bowls I took from around Wonderland and have co-opted for my concert. Now, a good host would helpfully label which ones are which so that you may be knowledgeable in your candy eating habits; but a GREAT host knows that risk makes the world all that more exciting! So trick-or-treat, sweethearts, and I look forward to seeing what mischief you can get up to while I perform! If any of you become ghost-ified, never fear! There is a section of the food table just for you!
[He steps back and gives an even bigger smile to the audience. He is absolutely thrilled to see everyone here.]
Now, I know I have been talking quite a bit and you must all be eager to get to the show, but I would be remiss to not make mention of two wonderful people helping make this show as great as it will be!
Give a good wide berth to any and all fire effects you see tonight folks, because it is all real and live! Thanks to Wonderland’s magic and their own, Chara Dreemur will be in charge of all pyrotechnics seen during this show! Everyone please give a hand to the awe-inspiring, fire-starting, human-made-Monster, the Guardian of Hyperdeath!
[Regardless of if anyone else claps, Mettaton puts aside his microphone and gives a rousing “round of applause” of his own.]
Last, but certainly not least, while my musical talent on its own is great, tonight’s musical mixes both during the performance and during the intermission are provided by the talents of the wonderful and bashful electronic music genius, Napstablook!
[With a flick of his hand, the curtains, previously closed behind him, open up to show a darkened stage with a one light blaring down on a DJ table that has a singular pumpkin balanced on top of the sound board.]
Tonight they have gotten a bit festive and have turned into an adorable little squash! I assure you folks that despite their seeming lack of hands, they can spin those records like nobody’s business! Though I’m sure they’d appreciate you all giving them a hand, just in case!
[He claps for Napstablook like he did for Chara, loud and clear and very energetic.]
All right folks, I hope you’re all shaking with anticipation, because our concert is finally ready to begin! We’re going to start our night out right with something fun and spooky that I think our resident skeletons will enjoy! Papyrus, Sans, this first song is dedicated to you two~!
[Finally after that great wall of text Mettaton steps to center stage.]
Lights! Camera! Music!
[Pumpkinblook starts up the tunes and Mettaton begins to sing and dance a certain skeletal tune, and when that has run its course, he sings some songs from his set before the intermission.]
((OOC: Wanna heckle, watch, cheer, or just have a general discussion with someone else while he performs? This is the place to do it!))
