Perhaps, but isn't it just so satisfying to figure out a particularly malicious puzzle with the barest of help? Although the Puppeteer leads The Batter by the hand it's still more fun if they themselves are not.

[But he can give out hints, small ones.]

Boss fights are always considered an exciting climax, no matter how difficult they are to find. I hope this does not come off as insensitive and I mean no offence, but I hope there was some level of enjoyment between you and your protagonist during your battle.
