open; still remember how it all changed
Who: peter petrelli and you!
Where: in and around the mansion.
When: all of january.
Rating: g.
Summary: catch-all for the month. if there's anything you'd like to discuss or if you'd like a random/specific starter, pm me via dw or plurk! (; otherwise -- here's a generic one!
The Story:
[ Aside from welcoming a few newcomers to Wonderland via the network, Peter has been spending the past few weeks in his room. He's turned into quite the social recluse since finding out about his brother's death. He hasn't told anyone about it and he likely won't. He's not quite ready to accept that Nathan's gone. There's still the possibility that things might turn out differently for him back in his world; that Sylar could be from another universe altogether. Or he can still change the future. It's not like he can't bend space and time. It's just a matter of practice.
Whatever it is, he knows there's nothing much he can do until he's back in New York. He just has to survive being in Wonderland for now.
It's a brand new year and it's time for him to stop feeling sorry for himself.
@ Gardens
Ever since gaining Isaac's ability to paint the future, Peter's been doodling and sketching in his notebook or just about anything he can find. He's gone from drawing nothing but a stickman to being pretty skilled with a pencil, pen or brush in his hand. There are days when he spends hours in the garden painting on large canvases. Mostly, they're abstract paintings or random paintings of a building or a skyline. Sometimes they're of people he's never met before and places he's never been to, but he doesn't give them much thought. They're likely simply from his imagination -- or is it?
@ Roof
The roof is Peter's favorite place in all of Wonderland. It's the place he goes to when he needs to think or when he's looking to wind down. He can usually be found sitting on the very edge of the roof, just staring off into space or reading a book -- if it's not dark out. Sometimes he uses the roof for powers practice. He tries to be careful about it, making sure no one's around before he makes use of his abilities, but he's not always paying attention. Mostly, he practices moving objects around with his mind, but lately, he's been messing about with generating electrical sparks from his fingers.
@ your choice!
Bonus: Peter's not always able to control his abilities so he might accidentally read minds or go invisible without realizing it until people are running into him.

roof!
but maybe approaching him on the roof will be okay? peter spends a lot of time up there, so he seems to think of it as some kind of safe space. and if he gets annoyed with sylar he can just ... jump off the roof. (again.) that's like the opposite of kidnapping, right?]
Hello, Peter.

Thus he ended up wandering the gardens, checking on how the plants were fairing in winter weather when he saw someone... painting? He stayed behind him for now, just watching the image of a skyline come to life on that canvas.
He hadn't exactly intended to just watch though since that would end up a bit creepy after a while, despite him thinking that he shouldn't interrupt an artist's flow of creativity. After turning off his mp3 player and removing the headphones from his ears, Minato approached when he saw the artist and taken a short pause.]
You're really good.
[That skyline really reminded Minato of home. (Feel free to mind-read away although there may be some quiet murmuring here and there in there because of his Personas.)]

As she gets closer to a spot she normally busies herself at she realizes she might have company, but she also isn't sure if that person actually wants company. And then, awkward as she is, she worries she'll give off a 'don't want to talk' vibe without trying. Jane tries to settle for a happy medium, not too far away, not too close, offering a smile. All of these 'please don't be awkward, self' thoughts are running through her mind as she quietly sits.
ooc: feel free to have him read her mind if you'd like! ]
