[Memories weave through with her desire at the sensation of his mouth on her neck, Kate left compromised by the flood of feeling that rocks through her body; the steady hum of want and need and him as she clings to Richie. In trying to offer him something, she opens herself up in kind, Kate starting to see just how much he'd come to mean to her in the weeks and months that they'd been here together.

She groans as he pulls away, eyes half lidded and hazy with longing as she struggles to focus on his face, Kate not immediately registering the aspect of the snake despite looking right at him. All she sees is Richie, the emotion that ripples his features as his eyes burn into hers and it's only the difference in them that makes her realize he was still half transformed.

Without a word, a tentative hand comes up to brush fingers along his forehead, the scaled skin that feels both warm and inhuman despite the very human feelings that come off him in waves. She's never looked at a Culebra without the underlying fear for her safety, but looking at Richie now? The only danger he posed to her was rendering her so completely gone that she might never find herself again.

Her gaze rakes over every transformed inch of him, the colors that bloom across his forehead and temple and she's struck by how beautiful he looks, the bold patterns and warm colors that she's never been able to appreciate before now. She had no doubt he could look terrifying, had caught small glimpses of it already but as open and vulnerable as he was right now, she stood by her words to Klaus. He was not, a monster.

Her eyes dip to his mouth, the fangs that stand long and deadly, able to strike at any moment but she doesn't draw away, doesn't recoil, instead allows her fingers to trace a path along his brow, around and across his cheekbone, gently tracing the line of his lower lip before she looks into his eyes once more.]

Did you? [See. Voice barely more than a whisper.]
