[The bottom of a shot glass finds the table and it's maybe his third or fourth time draining it. Sure, it's good liquor but the fluid ratio isn't doing anything for him, he's built up a resilience by now and as far as feeling anything went he hadn't even hit buzzed yet.]

[ cordelia is still working on getting the full lay of the land, and to that end, she wanders into the bar, and looks immediately ... unimpressed. ] Wow, this place really has that 'my dog left me and my wife ran away with the neighbor's shotgun' vibe to it, huh. Real uplifting.

The bar's open so it doesn't matter what it looks like. Just as long as the booze stays quality.

[It's hard not to notice the fully decked out brunette at his nine and Dean never misses an opportunity to talk turkey with the new recruits. Especially when they look like they walked out of Us Weekly.]

Beats me. We're in the same boat, and I've got some mixed reactions.

[So far he's met more people that saw more than they wanted to than those who were genuinely glad to see him back. If that wasn't enough to keep him chained to the bar the fact that he was at odds with his own family sure as hell was.]
