Very Frosty.

[Generally - in alliance with his theme - Leonard can appreciate the art of snowmen building. Well enough that he's been watching for a little while and other than noticing some interesting features in a handful of the snowmen, he also notices that there is something just a little off about how she's creating them.

Leonard's wearing his parka, fitting for the weather - not that he hasn't worn it outside summer before - and his cold gun in its holster by his side as he stops next to Freya, a few steps to the side.]

They're not going to start talking, are they?

[She glances back at him with a small smirk, before smoothing one of the snowmen gently with one hand.]

I don't have any plans to animate them, but I can't say Wonderland might not have other ideas.

[One never knows with a world like this, after all. But as far as her magic is concerned, she's not looking to cause that kind of trouble.]

Hard to predict what this place is gonna do at any one time.

[But he has taken note of something else that's making him raise his eyebrows at her a little.]

Though from how you said that, it's making it sound like you could animate them. That's a neat trick.

[Animating snowmen isn't one of her usual bag of tricks, but she probably could. Manipulating the elements is one of her skillsets after all.]

I have more than a few of those. Not just with snowmen, mind you, though animating them would take a little practice. I haven't done it before.

What is it you do then, in layman's terms? Don't exactly know a lot about magic.

[At least not actual magic.]

I'm pretty good at vanishing coins, but that's about it.

[She takes a deep breath as she considers how to explain it.]

It's ... an instinctual thing. It's carried in bloodlines, and those who know how to use it can do ... almost anything with it, though some things have stronger consequences than others.

[Don't ask her to science it. She doesn't really have answers for you there.]

Your family reunions must be a lot of fun.

[It's fine, he's not going to ask for anything scientific, a dry comment seems plenty.]

Does it tire you out at all?

[Oh, Snart, you have no idea. Her family reunions can be loads of fun.]

Oh, definitely. The larger the spell, the more of a toll it can take on you. Sometimes it can even kill you. That's why it's important to know your limits.

[Hey, at least there's never a dull moment.]

So, the snow trick here is like doing a push-up, but bigger things are more on the scale of squeezing a marathon into a minute?

[Seems somewhat balanced, at least.]

You got trained in this or is it all natural talent?

Both. My family line has a great deal of power that's been passed down over the years but raw power is just that, and it can be quite dangerous. You need to be taught how to properly wield it without hurting yourself or others.

There's a good deal. All my family has passed down over the years are criminal tendencies. [At least it also comes with a lot of affinity for them, so it's not as if he's complaining entirely.]

[She laughs.]

My father was a Viking. Let's just say I was raised on the benefits and dangers of pillaging and conquering.

[Not the most unusual thing in Wonderland, he knows that by now.]

He was. A little too good, some would probably think. But he would do whatever he had to do to protect his family.

Never thought I'd say that about a Viking, but I guess I can relate with your father. And now there's a whole family of magic taking care of each other?

No wonder your reunions are stressful. A lot of you here?

Three of us, including me. My brother and my sister arrived a few months after I did.

[Though they are still missing three brothers, a sister-in-law and a niece for a full Mikaelson family reunion.

God help them all if that ever happens.]
