i will lead you through this wonderland
Who: Angus McDonald and YOU or YOUR MIRROR
Where: Hallways, either through mirrors or in person
When: 6/7
Rating: PG probably, will warn if it goes higher
Summary: Angus can't overlook his curiosity anymore.
The Story:
It all started with a simple message on his bedroom mirror, available upon waking up bright and early, almost as if it were perfectly timed with Angus' schedule.
I know something you don't know.
Angus, fighting off the grogginess of an early morning, had rushed over to his mirror to write his response with a dry erase marker instantly gathered from the closet. A simple "Who is this?"
And the response came back, cryptic and irritating.
I know that one too. What else do I know that you don't?
Further attempts to communicate were completely ignored. Angus could just imagine whoever it was on the other side laughing at his ignorance, only because he's so used to being laughed at that he has a sixth sense for when it's going to happen. He bit his cheek and now, now he's brought his investigation outside. If that Mirror won't talk to him anymore, then he'll just have to get another opinion. Maybe not on this particular mystery, but on some more general ones. He did still want a Mirror's perspective on their own motives and surroundings. He's interviewed a few people that have been there from this side, but only listening to half the witnesses' testimony would be a fatal mistake.
So he brings with him his dry erase marker, a thick navy blue Expo, and a rag to erase with. On several of the mirrors on the third floor, he poses questions such as,
What are the biggest differences between this side and that one?
Describe your typical day.
Why are Mirrors made?
If someone happens to pass by on his own side, he quickly erases whatever question he may be writing and hides his marker behind his back. It's better if no one knows he's trying to contact the other side, but... Angus also happens to be pretty terrible at lying.
[Will match prose or brackets!]

How do you know that isn't memories given to you by your queen?
You don't know. You cling to what you can, what you want.
Your parents will be waiting when you return. You could find them.
[It was good advice, not actually being a dick, but picking at the year even though Seth can't think of the last time he's even thought about his mom. Even the real side Seth couldn't speak of that.]
His name's Richie and he's here.
Probably will give me shit for writing you.
So you're all alone in Wonderland? Seems cruel of them.

[Will he get scolded for not valuing family over other things? Probably. He can handle that, though. An adult's anger isn't nearly so scary through a barrier like this.
Angus clings to memories far too tightly to even consider that they may be false. It's an interesting perspective, but that's all it is to him. People can just say any old words in any order they want, it turns out, and Angus has to be a skeptic to be a good detective. And he happens to be the best.]
Are you saying that there is a queen for this side, too? I've only heard about the queen of the Mirrors.

Smart of you. Parents aren't what everyone pretends they are.
[There's a smiley face drawn on the mirror before it is erased and replaced with words.]
Why am I not surprised?
Why would they tell you the truth over there?
no subject
But his parents aren't important. They're not even here. So he doesn't say anything.]
Maybe I just haven't learned the right questions. Are you offering to tell me the truth then?
no subject
You probably haven't. I'm offering to talk, and it might be the truth.
