Summary: Jane hasn't been able to do the work she wants for almost a full year. So instead, she built something else.
The Story:
OK, there's a step down so just-- just, careful. Keep 'em closed!
[ jane's hand flutters lightly across darcy's forehead, sweeping down to try to make sure she doesn't open her eyes before jane can hit a few switches on the wall. their footsteps are hushed in the same way they are in movie theaters but above them the air moves freely.
she's never been great with words when it came to expressing her own feelings. and darcy does way more than simply herding her where she needs to be and making sure she eats. ]
So, I thought since we keep coming up on roadblocks every time we nearly get out of here, maybe I could bring a piece of home to us.
[ jane steps away from darcy, hand falling back to her side. darcy shouldn't have too much trouble adjusting once she opens her eyes: the room is dark, and the arching ceiling doesn't become apparent until jane presses something on her device.
cassiopeia reveals herself first. and then orion, and the bears. hercules and perseus wake up, and their neighbors around them.
and then they all rotate as one, revealing new patterns as the old ones disappear. ]

Well, either way it's awesome. [ She wiggles in the seat at the mention of more, her jaw dropping as she stares up in wonder - literally fighting the urge to reach for the remote to cycle through things at a crazy fast rate before losing herself in the doodles. ] Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude...
