If these shitty haircuts stick when Wonderland goes back to what passes for normal, they can try to neaten them up with scissors.]

[She flips him off before turning to face him again, sitting back on her heels and trying to arrange her stupid dress so that it too in her way.]

And I'm an Oracle, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with telling the future. And I have spells. It feels like we're trapped in some fucking pre-Rising tabletop game.

[He considers that for a moment, then nods slowly. Yeah, that seems to fit, actually. The weird clothes, weird species and occupations. It sounds exactly like a prerising tabletop game--what he's heard about them, anyway.]

[Shaun opens his own backpack and pulls out a crown made of flowers. He grins at George as he puts it on.]

The more things change... [George has been 'the one who sees in the dark' since they were kids. It's kind of nice to be back to their normal. He lets himself be tugged long behind her. With her excellent night vision, he's sure they'll find a secluded cave shirt soon.]
