[open] you know our stats are gold
Who: Tim Drake and YOU
Where: All around the Kindergarten
When: Throughout the event
Rating: PG-PG-13. There might be strong language
Summary: Tim is a huge Warlocks and Warriors fan, and this would be a lot more fun if he were not 3 feet tall.
The Story:
With a few events under his belt, it's no longer a huge surprise when the Mansion suddenly disappears, they're suddenly someplace new, and suddenly wearing different clothes. It's amazing how quickly something like that can become... maybe not commonplace, but also not exactly shocking either. The part that is shocking is the way things have changed. The setting isn't familiar to him--par for the course for Wonderland, really--but he certainly is familiar with the changes he seems to have undergone.
He looks down at his hands, then his feet, and takes note of how much closer to the ground he is than usual. Well, that's... cute. Okay, fine. So he's a halfling. And a... vigilante? Well, at least that makes sense, even if nothing else does.
He starts looking for familiar faces, and hopes that Kon is something ridiculous, too, or he's never going to hear the end of this.
[Tim will be looking for friends and helping people who need it, because... Of course he will. He is firmly in the Batman "We Don't Kill" school of vigilantism, so he will be avoiding doing any permanent damage to the gems he comes across.
Short jokes welcome, though not by him.]

this is like. the shortest starter ever, i'm sorry.
YOU MAGNIFICENT CREATURE
So really, it could be any of them.
He raises an eyebrow at the robin. "Can I help you?"
/bows
"Oh, the look on your face was priceless." She wipes a finger under her eye. "I think the only thing that could've been better was if I could do that to Bruce." Because she would absolutely do that to Bruce if he were here.
no subject
"If you do that to him, I just want to be there to see it."
no subject
"Definitely," she says, "But you have to promise me you'll film it." Because that will annoy Bruce even more and it'll make everyone she sends that to (Dick, and Babs, and Lana, mainly) laugh. Which is really the whole point to being a giant troll to the Bat.

"Ah, but if you record it every time you do something like that to annoy him, he'll get wise sooner." She holds up a finger with a grin. "Delaying the inevitable is a good thing, in this case."

Hands planted on her hips, she takes a look around at their strange surroundings. "Mind if I tag along wherever you were going for a while?"

When he sees Tim, he stares, then smirks.]
I thought halflings were supposed to be short. You don't look different from usual.
no subject
You're an asshole, you know that?
no subject
No, I'm a rogue. Which I'm pretty sure is the Batman of this world.

Kon, are you half Kryptonian right now?
[Without waiting for an answer, he throws a quick punch at his arm (8+4 initiative=12). It's not a hard punch. But it's still a punch.]

Does he even look like himself? Would anyone recognize him? Perhaps now is a good time to find out. He approaches the halfling ( move silently: 14 (+6) = 20 ), doing all he can not to draw too much attention, as if the way of the rogue.
"This is something else." His voice is deeper, almost lyrical, although he can't quite figure out if that has something to do with the setting or something to do with this supposed game or something to do with whatever his race is supposed to be.
Blake glances around and assesses their surroundings ( knowledge local: 3 (+4) = 7 ) but notes nothing worth mentioning that wouldn't already be obvious.

Welcome to Wonderland, right?

Seeing no reason to stand on ceremony, he drops his hood back and reveals the snow white hair and the white eyes that match, stark against his now dark skin. ]
This is probably what counts for this place's sense of humor, I suppose. How long's it usually last? A couple of days?
no subject
Give or take. I think occasionally it's lasted as long as a week or so, but that's not typical. [He gives him a sidelong look.] Ever play Warlocks and Warriors before?
no subject
Not really, no. A few schoolmates that played, but nothing I could ever get into.
[ He frowns and looks to the ground. ]
Is there an objective? Something we should be accomplishing?
no subject
[He glances around them.]
I'm not really sure yet. Probably. It would be a pretty badly run game if there wasn't an objective of some sort. [Pause.] Not that this is really a game? Probably? I hope?
[Because there are usually monsters involved.]

Fiddling with the pommel of his short sword where it's sheathed at his belt, Blake purses his lips and scrunches his face like he's smelling rotten eggs. ]
It would sure be nice if they would have given us the guide book if they're making us play. Isn't the whole point of this kind of thing, that there's a rule for everything? But I guess you're right, they're expecting we're not going treat it like a game, so maybe that's why.
[ Blake has yet to realize there's no rhyme or reason to anything Wonderland does. ]
Because you know someone would find a loophole.
[ He's not naming any names, but he is looking at you, Tim. A bit pointedly, at that. ]
no subject
Someone find a way around the rules? Wouldn't that be cheating? How scandalous.
[He doesn't sound scandalized, and actually he's smirking a little.]
I feel like it would be easier if I could see my own character sheet, which is kind of... a bizarre thing to want, but this is kind of a bizarre situation.
