Jamie's always been a sort of man who likes to be learned no matter what the subject and he's found that this place, this strange place they call Wonderland or whatever it is, has a lot of things in it that he doesna know and has never heard of. Claire's been as big a help as she can be, in her way, but Jamie has to get out and read and do things for himself to be able to commit them to memory.

He's gone to the library to find as many books as he can on this place and he's coming up short. He dinna ken how to even start finding out how this place works but at least there's towers and towers of books here that he's never read; he reaches for one at the same time as the other lad and gives him a smile.
