Crowley's voice might be a fraction higher than he would like it to be, but he's noticed the shuffling zombies getting closer and he is not okay with it.
"I don't like dying! It's very inconvenient!"

He grabs Elizabeth's hand and tears out into the street with her in tow. It's only when some distance is put between them and the walkers that he lifts up his hand, a neat row of slowly darkening teeth marks bloodying the soft flesh between his thumb and forefinger.
"... Fuck."

"Oh no!"

"Bless it--" he mutters. If he was his normal self he could deal with this. If Wonderland wouldn't keep messing with him, he could fix this.
He stills, eyes fixed on nothing in middle-distance, then he slowly looks at Elizabeth.
"... open a tear."

"I won't become one of them. I'd rather be dead. Open a tear. Now."

"All right."

He can feel his heart pounding and a hot-cold wave pulsing through his body makes his stomach flip in nausea over the thought of what he's about to do. Crowley puts his hand through the tear, and looks at her with a rarely-seen tenseness in his jaw.
"Now close it."

She drops her hands and watches as the tear closes, the sky restitching itself together as though the rip she'd made had never been there at all. Where Crowley's hand had been, there was now just a stump.
She turns away, running into the bushes to vomit.

"Fuck--."
Crowley would be lying if he said he'd never felt pain like it, but pain experienced as a demon is nothing like the level of pain experienced as a human, and he drops down to one knee to keep from simply falling over. He holds his injured arm to his chest and hisses in a sharp breath, before he can do little more than gasp through the sensation.
"I think I'm going to throw up," he whispers to himself, curling forwards and trying to pull himself together. "Oh, bad idea, Crowley, why did you do that."
no subject
"We need to stop the bleeding."
