and I'll use you as a warning sign

Who: Fiddleford McGucket, and possibly YOU??
Where: Around the mansion
When: Throughout the week of 9/16 until 9/22??
Rating: PG? I'll change it if something comes up
Summary: Fiddleford has obtained a journal, but more important than that, other people have obtained his things. One of which would not be good to have in the wrong hands.
The Story:

[The Hallways]

[It's one thing to suddenly find someone's belongings among your things, it's another entirely to realize that your belongings are among someone else's right now. And one of those things could very well make living here very difficult, especially if someone realized who they belonged to. Not just for Fiddleford, but everyone else in the mansion too.

As such, the paranoia and stress of the situation has led to Fiddleford pacing the hallways a bit here, hands in his pockets. Occasionally he stops to run a hand through his hair to try to calm himself here, but otherwise he's keeping an eye out for anyone who has something suspicious on their person. Maybe he can convince them to just give his things back and not say anything if they happen to have them, but...

... well, he does have the memory gun hidden in the pockets of his lab coat here, if worse comes to worse.]

[The Library]

[The first thing he should have done when he realized what he had in his hands was the third of Ford's journals on the supernatural was to give it back to the other man right away. But instead, he opened the book and...

... he very quickly comes back to himself slamming it shut and pushing the book to the farthest corner of his desk. As if expecting something to suddenly come out of it's pages, but after a few minutes of staring at the book, even he realizes that he's being utterly ridiculous about this.

He ends up leaving the book behind in his room and wandering off to the library, looking for a moment to see if some of the creatures in the journal have ever appeared in other works. At the very least, it's a slight stepping stone to trying to understand the supernatural like Ford did, right? Even if anyone that comes in right now will see Fiddleford opening these books like as if he's expecting a bomb to suddenly go off, or drops one of them once or twice without warning.]

[Closed to Stanford Pines]

[Eventually, a voice message gets sent to the latter.]

Can I meet with you right now? I have somethin' to give you.

Sort of...but. I don't know if I can get it back if I undo it.

[It's a lot harder than she thought it was going to be.]

[It might be two things, but they're both things that Kayo hasn't heard often enough in her life. She looks sort of surprised by the advice, honestly.

But...it's enough for her to break the white side, and keep trying to turn it the right way.

Are you good at these?

You must be good if they help you relax...

[Not that she hasn't been having fun, but she's not sure "relaxing" is the word she would use.]

Is there a secret to it?
