Who: Ryoko and you!
Where: The Gardens
When: October 15th
Rating: PG
Summary: Ryoko exploring the gardens!
The Story:
Today, Ryoko can be found outside, strolling around the gardens with her notebook open, writing down her observations and notes about it. She thinks she should have had notes on this place, but there's nothing in her book. There's some notes about a flood during a prior event, so maybe they were lost then?
Or maybe she never wrote anything down beyond that the gardens existed. Most of her notes about Wonderland's geography pertain to inside the mansion, so she must've thought this place wasn't important. It had nothing to do with her.
But she did write that she was going to try and not write things off as having nothing to do with her as often as she used to, and yes the note's old, but since she noticed it again today, she's trying to correct what was probably an oversight on her part.
So she'll be spending most of her day out here, this way when she forgets about this place again, she'll at least have her notes to fall back on if she decides to visit this part of the grounds again.

She'll check her notes again to make sure she isn't forgetting anything.
"I made a rough map of the gardens, I wrote down where the fountains are, that there's stables. I'm not sure if I'll ever need to know that, but it's there just in case."
She somehow missed the cave entrance, but other than that, she got most of the area covered.

"Very good! It sounds like you've thought this out well, and you've taken note of the landmarks of this area."
He pauses for a beat, before he points dramatically towards her. "However! Otonashi-kun, I cannot help but notice one oversight!"
With that, Ishimaru pivots to point his pointer finger towards the cave entrance.
"Doesn't that cave entrance look like an important place to mark down?"

She'll look, and sure enough there's one over there, but it's not on her map. Good find Ishimaru.
"How did I miss that?"

"Um, right! I should mark that on my map before I forget."
She'll take a moment to do that, not really sure if it'll ever be necessary. And also wondering why there's a cave on the grounds anyway. Where does it go? Probably for the best she doesn't go in there though, she might forget and get lost. And that would be terrible.
"There we go. Now I know it's there."

"Well done, Otonashi-kun! Now you have assembled a truly worthwhile guide to this area. It may come in handy someday!"

Maybe she'll go wander around the attic next. Okay, no, probably not. That would be about a good idea as wandering through the caves.

"Even with that aside, I have to appreciate your diligence in thinking to take notes to begin with! It is quite commendable, Otonashi-kun!"

It's what she has to do, but she won't express it quite like that.

Maybe she should write that down because she tends to do it fairly often.

Which will probably involving forgetting she wrote it down. A lot. But she'll try.

The fact that she's making an effort is the most important. After all, he believes in his heart that hard work can change the world. And so, through that power of effort, Otonashi should even be able to remember again someday! And all will be well.
