Who: Ryoko and you!
Where: The Gardens
When: October 15th
Rating: PG
Summary: Ryoko exploring the gardens!
The Story:
Today, Ryoko can be found outside, strolling around the gardens with her notebook open, writing down her observations and notes about it. She thinks she should have had notes on this place, but there's nothing in her book. There's some notes about a flood during a prior event, so maybe they were lost then?
Or maybe she never wrote anything down beyond that the gardens existed. Most of her notes about Wonderland's geography pertain to inside the mansion, so she must've thought this place wasn't important. It had nothing to do with her.
But she did write that she was going to try and not write things off as having nothing to do with her as often as she used to, and yes the note's old, but since she noticed it again today, she's trying to correct what was probably an oversight on her part.
So she'll be spending most of her day out here, this way when she forgets about this place again, she'll at least have her notes to fall back on if she decides to visit this part of the grounds again.

"Do you ever worry about Wonderland taking away memories?"
Or did she ever wonder or even remember that Wonderland did that?
no subject
That one's not a joke. If Wonderland took her memories, it's not like she'd remember having them to begin with. So as far as she's concerned, that aspect of Wonderland doesn't have anything to do with her. Well, probably anyway. There's one part of it that might.
"Wait, I don't have any memories...so would it take my notes?"
no subject
"Probably not Wonderland itself. But we can find ways to back them up for you."
As he mentioned before, though he said it again also for his own benefit, just so he could think of ways to do that, make sure they stayed safe. In case someone decided to steal them or if there was an event that would destroy the notes, like a fire, flood, anything like that. Wonderland would keep her from being able to read or write certain words or phrases, but they'd be there for someone else to read for her.
no subject
Because without friends, she's not sure what she'd do in Wonderland. With all the events, she's bound to lose something at some point, and without people willing to help her back things up, she'd be doomed.
"Um, maybe later we should make time for that. I can see if some of my other friends would like to help out too."
no subject
"Sure. It's a good idea. They're the friends who are from Hope's Peak?"
no subject
She can't remember if she's asked that before or not. It's a minor drawback with her problem, but not knowing who knows who can be a bit of a pain sometimes.
no subject
If she had them written down in her book then she might know them or be reminded that she did.
no subject
Yup, they're all written down in here.
no subject
That was of course a relief. He didn't think any of them wouldn't help her.
no subject
What else could she be?
no subject
"Since we're here at the gardens, is there something you do or don't like about them?"
He wondered if she would remember her preferences for something like that.
no subject
"I like how they look, but...they don't make sense. There's fruits and vegetables growing, but they aren't disappearing, and according to this, the kitchens and dining hall give you what you ask for, so if they were going there, they'd vanish. So they're just sort of...decoration?"
She doesn't know that for sure, but from her notes that seems to be the case.
"I'm not sure if I dislike that or not, but it's like they're more for decoration than anything else."
no subject
Minato thought it was okay to have both. The food in the kitchen, dining room, or tea rooms were more like something supernatural.
"Does it bother you that it might be magic instead?"
no subject
She'll flip back through the book, looking for the rest of that thought.
"Because pretty much everything here is magic, right? So if it bothered me because of that, everything in Wonderland would bother me. So it's not that, it's just that...um..."
There was more here. She knows there was more here. So she just frowns and goes back to her book, but doesn't find the answer.
"Sorry, I think I forgot."
no subject
That way she could keep track of her preferences and thoughts. She could check back on them when she wanted to.
"Do you categorize your notebooks?"
no subject
She'll think about that one for a moment.
"I don't remember, but I think I would have to? Otherwise I wouldn't know which one was which."
no subject
That'd be most helpful to her. Keep her more organized.
no subject
It seems like a good idea to her. That way she makes sure to take the right one with her whenever she leaves her room.
no subject
Minato knew she needed a lot of reminders. Whatever would work for her.
no subject
There's just no way she could get through the day without them.
