Summary: A catch all for the Horrible Memory Truth Event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, everyone's entire room will be replaced with a memory playing on loop. They will likely recognize the moment as soon as they see it – it is a moment they remember as the worst moment of their entire lives. It could be a memory from home or something that happened in Wonderland. Lengths of the memories will vary, but they will find that these are not memories they can merely watch – they can step into these memories and attempt to make changes to them, and the memories will be long enough that they have time to make changes (though no more than 24 hours). However, anyone who tries will find that it is futile. No matter what you do or how hard you try, the outcome is always exactly the same somehow. No changes you make will prevent that horrible outcome. It just happens over and over and over again no matter what you do.

On top of that, perhaps complicating any attempts to make changes, everyone will be forced to be honest for the duration of the event. No lies or half-truths are allowed, and filters will be gone for the entire five days. If something bothers someone then they will blurt it out, regardless of whether or not it hurts someone's feelings, and no one will be able to simply keep quiet when they have something to say. They must be truthful and honest with every word they say.

This is a catch-all log for all of your Worst Memory needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and Room Number + Floor for character rooms, or just location if you're making a top level for a public place in the mansion (like the tea rooms or the kitchen) so people can see if there's already a thread available. [Once she’s forced from her room, Cissie will try to avoid going back at all costs. The problem, of course, is how many of her friends live on the same floor, within doors of each other. She’ll want to find them, make sure they’re okay… At least until she realizes that she can’t stop speaking the truth, no matter what she’s trying to say instead.

She can be found in the library or the tea rooms, looking for a quiet spot to hide and be alone, or getting herself some food from the kitchen. She tries, occasionally, to spend time in crowded public spaces, thinking that she can be a wallflower and avoid the conversations she doesn’t want (but can’t help) to have. When this doesn’t work, she retreats to the roof, or the grounds. The one place she avoids as much as her room is the shooting range.]

((Feel free to run into Cissie anywhere your character may be; she’s restless, and trying to avoid things, so she’ll keep moving until this is over. Please don’t let her avoid.))

[Mikan would normally apologize to anyone's space she enters and retreat. But this time she bowels into the library and just starts grabbing as many books as she can carry. She's not even looking at the titles or content, she just needs as many as she can.

Her face is stained and her eyes are red, signs of crying that has yet to stop.]

Uuu...

[Under normal circumstances, Cissie would stop Mikan, take the books from her and try to find out what's bothering her. But these aren't normal circumstances, and Cissie doesn't need to ask what's wrong. She knows what waits back in her room, and how hollowed out and exhausted she's feeling now. She's past crying, and if she weren't so damn exhausted from it all, she would almost wish she were still in that stage of things.

As it is, even as exhausted and antisocial as she's feeling, it's hard for her to see a friend so upset. She sighs and grabs a box of tissues, offering them to her and holding out a hand.]

Here. I can carry some for you.

[Mikan flinches and backs away!]

No! No, you can't, you can't come with me, you have to stay away from my room! No matter what!

[Cissie blinks in surprise, and then frowns.]

...You're not going back to your room, are you?

I have to! I have to make sure no one goes near it!

That's... You shouldn't go near it, either. Did you lock the door?

The lock was broken a long time ago... I have to stay near it as much as possible.

[Tim is following the time-honored tradition of Batmen and Robins everywhere and finding the highest place around to try to avoid talking about his feelings. The roof. With everyone in Wonderland trying to avoid their feelings, it might not be the most successful plan, but he's pretty good at not being noticed if he doesn't want to be. He does, however, notice others when they turn up--especially if those others happen to be friends of his.

Speak? Don't speak? He doubts she wants to talk about what's going on any more than he does, but he decides to err on the side of not ignoring his friends. Of all of them, Cissie is the most likely to want to talk about her feelings.]

Hey, Cissie.

[If Cissie had been thinking straight, she would have absolutely known that the roof would be occupied, and probably by at least one of her friends. Namely Tim. So she's not exactly surprised to find him up there, and she's also not exactly unhappy to see him... Even if she's a little afraid, both because of their newfound compulsions to blurt out how they're really feeling, and because she's afraid that he's seen what's in her room.

Tim was always the one who never judged her for quitting, or tried to convince her to come back. She's afraid of losing that... and afraid of telling him this.

But she's not going to avoid him. He's got his own trauma that he's had to relive, and of all of them... Tim's the one who probably needs his friends to intervene the most.]

Hi, Tim. You okay?

[...It's a stupid question. But it's out before she can think about it.]

[He gave her a small smile.]

I feel like I should be asking you that. I spend a lot of time on rootops as a general rule. You're not up here nearly as often.

I'm avoiding things. And people, to be more specific. [She blinks, and immediately makes a face.] Which is clearly working super well, since I totally should have guessed you'd be up here. But I've been worrying about you anyway.

[...All she can do after saying all of that is sigh heavily, and move to sit near him.]

[He bumps her shoulder with his.]

I'm okay. Damian dragged me out of my personal hell and then we spent a while beating each other up. It helped. How are you?

[Cissie sighs, and just puts her head on his shoulder.]

I don't know. [It's the honest answer; she can't give anything but an honest answer, even if she normally would say she's fine, and no one would believe her. They'd at least let it be, maybe.] I'm tired, you know? And feeling guilty, because I've been letting myself get so wrapped up in my own feelings that I haven't been checking on you guys like I should have.

...And this honesty crap is for the birds.

[Tim snorts quietly and rests his head against hers. He's sure she can imagine how he feels about it--she knows just how much of a liar he is.]

No kidding.

But it's okay, Cissie. This has been... kind of a lot. For all of us.
