Summary: A catch all for the Horrible Memory Truth Event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, everyone's entire room will be replaced with a memory playing on loop. They will likely recognize the moment as soon as they see it – it is a moment they remember as the worst moment of their entire lives. It could be a memory from home or something that happened in Wonderland. Lengths of the memories will vary, but they will find that these are not memories they can merely watch – they can step into these memories and attempt to make changes to them, and the memories will be long enough that they have time to make changes (though no more than 24 hours). However, anyone who tries will find that it is futile. No matter what you do or how hard you try, the outcome is always exactly the same somehow. No changes you make will prevent that horrible outcome. It just happens over and over and over again no matter what you do.

On top of that, perhaps complicating any attempts to make changes, everyone will be forced to be honest for the duration of the event. No lies or half-truths are allowed, and filters will be gone for the entire five days. If something bothers someone then they will blurt it out, regardless of whether or not it hurts someone's feelings, and no one will be able to simply keep quiet when they have something to say. They must be truthful and honest with every word they say.

This is a catch-all log for all of your Worst Memory needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and Room Number + Floor for character rooms, or just location if you're making a top level for a public place in the mansion (like the tea rooms or the kitchen) so people can see if there's already a thread available. I don't actually care about the comments. What I wonder is this, what energy were you using when you made it? how did you harness it?

You know very well there are laws and accords both preventing that sort of mistake from happening again. [At least, there's a ban on AI according to a throwaway line in the middle of a random AoS episode. This may be contradicted by movie canon at any time.] And I'm starting to suspect that you're taking advantage of our current predicament. [He's leaking intel like a broken faucet and it hurts.]

-- but if you must know, I was working with a powered person. He could generate a small amount of instability in the dimensional fabric around him. All I did was amplify his talents. It required exponentially fewer resources than attempting something that large without aid.

Maybe. If you were willing to talk to me, we wouldn't be having this conversation. The thing is this, I have a close friend who says something very bad is going to happen to our world pretty soon. he says that board has been set without us knowing.

[ and thor's words have worried him more than he wanted to admit. ]

We can both sit here and go nuts knowing we have work to do or we can adjust to the fact that you're probably very smart and I'm definitely a genius and yes, maybe I've been a dick and I can't remember and maybe you did nothing but yell at me but we are the best chance this place has.

I can tell you a lot about what's going to happen to our world. [He stiffens and trains his eyes to the food in front of him.] There's a very good chance that I'm helping it reach us.

[His cheeks burn hot; he's mostly sure that his last moments at home were also the last time he'll ever set foot on a whole, complete Earth.]

We can't get through this with the methods currently available to us. We need to find another route.

another route. now we're talking. we have to harness another source of energy, probably much stronger. If his input only took you guys as far as the mirror side, we're going to need to either find something else or use whatever wonderland's using to get us here. there's something.

I'm visiting an alien world with a group of Hydra agents who want to bring back a planet-eating god.

[He bites his lip (dramatically) to make it stop moving. It only works long enough for Tony to continue asking.]

We wouldn't be able to enlist the same powered person regardless. For one, he's left. But even if he returns, I'd never subject him to that sort of torment again. He was trapped on the mirror side for a week. They tortured him terribly.

They bring us here somehow. Magic beams, science, there's a way. if we ever find it, we can reverse the direction.

[ look at him eyeing the ceiling ]

I really want to ask about the aliens an HYDRA and the - last thing there but you'll never talk to me again if I ask. I just want you to understand what a great sacrifice I'm making.

If you listen to the residents, they seem to believe it operates similarly to a pattern that sounds like contemporary tractor beam theories. It potentially moves through spacetime in a tangible manner, which could explain why people tend to be drawn here in pairs or groups. We would need to either push through an immeasurable gravitational pull or find a means in which that pull is reversed.

[This conversation is absolutely exhausting. He needs a nap.]

One was, for a time. They tell me he's most likely been sent back by now. I don't believe it.
