Summary: A catch all for the Horrible Memory Truth Event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, everyone's entire room will be replaced with a memory playing on loop. They will likely recognize the moment as soon as they see it – it is a moment they remember as the worst moment of their entire lives. It could be a memory from home or something that happened in Wonderland. Lengths of the memories will vary, but they will find that these are not memories they can merely watch – they can step into these memories and attempt to make changes to them, and the memories will be long enough that they have time to make changes (though no more than 24 hours). However, anyone who tries will find that it is futile. No matter what you do or how hard you try, the outcome is always exactly the same somehow. No changes you make will prevent that horrible outcome. It just happens over and over and over again no matter what you do.

On top of that, perhaps complicating any attempts to make changes, everyone will be forced to be honest for the duration of the event. No lies or half-truths are allowed, and filters will be gone for the entire five days. If something bothers someone then they will blurt it out, regardless of whether or not it hurts someone's feelings, and no one will be able to simply keep quiet when they have something to say. They must be truthful and honest with every word they say.

This is a catch-all log for all of your Worst Memory needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and Room Number + Floor for character rooms, or just location if you're making a top level for a public place in the mansion (like the tea rooms or the kitchen) so people can see if there's already a thread available. "Ah, the same occurred to me. A small child... or another agent who I still do not know the identity of, as it was not the child who killed me shortly before my arrival here, has killed me, as I understand it, dozens or hundreds of times. But the time... cycle... keeps getting... reset... and then it happens over again. I do not really understand it all, but I am assured that it is true. I only remember dying the one time, after fighting the child, and then after the human child almost killed me, being spared, and offering the child a place in my own home... and then being struck from behind and dissolving into dust. I then awoke here. I also died a second time while here, when a Frost Giant stabbed me with an ice spear through my chest, and I began hemorrhaging dust until I... well to say that I bled out would be an error in speech, but I lost the dust that comprises my body until I could no longer maintain my form, and a human man named Tim absorbed my SOUL so as to gain my magical abilities, which I asked him to do, to prevent the Ice Giant from absorbing myself and possibly gaining magical abilities."

There's what might feel like a somewhat awkward pause. "You know, it is very strange to be compelled to speak every thought that comes to one's mind."

"It's like a giant Zone of Truth has been cast, except it lasts a lot longer than Merle's usually does."

And while Magnus doesn't find himself lying that often and he's truthful for the most part, there are certainly times he doesn't speak out about every little thing going on in his brain.

"That whole death situation sounds rough, buddy. At least you seem pretty not dead anymore, so that's something?"

"When we were stuck in our loop we got killed by all sorts of different things. We exploded a lot, got killed by a bunch of traps, got eaten by tiny bugs, oh I drowned in clay once too! Though our loop only lasted an hour and we didn't die as many times as you did."

"I've never been exploded, that I know. Who is Merle? Is this another human, like yourself? And what is a Zone of Truth?"

(Answers: no; an endearing but mostly useless character trait)

"I wouldn't recommend it."

The blowing up part, the dying part...both are highly not recommended.

"Merle's a dwarf, not a human and he's the cleric in our party, though he's a pretty shitty one. And Zone of Truth is his favorite spell, casts it whenever he can even if it isn't really relevant to what we're doing. Makes you tell the truth when you're in the area that if effects."

"Ah, why is he a 'shitty one'? Is he derelict in his duties? I remember clerics from that time that I was a... Bloodrager... my former royal scientist Alphys was a cleric and my friend Tim the Human was an Alchemist and his friend was a... shapeshifter? It was one of the Wonderland... event things. At any rate, I was very good at getting angry and hitting people and casting some magic. In real life, I only know fire-based magic... and that tends to be on the destructive side."

"He never casts any healing spells, despite being our only healer. And when he does try to cast them, they usually don't work. Though he does know some other useful spells, so I guess he's not entirely shitty at everything."

Just mainly at the healing thing. Gotta keep your tank healed Merle!

"That event sounds a lot like home, actually. At least with the different classes and stuff. And at least you know magic, I don't know shit about magic but I really wish I did. Seems like it'd be super cool to throw a bunch of fireballs at some bad guys."
