Summary: A catch all for the Horrible Memory Truth Event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, everyone's entire room will be replaced with a memory playing on loop. They will likely recognize the moment as soon as they see it – it is a moment they remember as the worst moment of their entire lives. It could be a memory from home or something that happened in Wonderland. Lengths of the memories will vary, but they will find that these are not memories they can merely watch – they can step into these memories and attempt to make changes to them, and the memories will be long enough that they have time to make changes (though no more than 24 hours). However, anyone who tries will find that it is futile. No matter what you do or how hard you try, the outcome is always exactly the same somehow. No changes you make will prevent that horrible outcome. It just happens over and over and over again no matter what you do.

On top of that, perhaps complicating any attempts to make changes, everyone will be forced to be honest for the duration of the event. No lies or half-truths are allowed, and filters will be gone for the entire five days. If something bothers someone then they will blurt it out, regardless of whether or not it hurts someone's feelings, and no one will be able to simply keep quiet when they have something to say. They must be truthful and honest with every word they say.

This is a catch-all log for all of your Worst Memory needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and Room Number + Floor for character rooms, or just location if you're making a top level for a public place in the mansion (like the tea rooms or the kitchen) so people can see if there's already a thread available. [Damian was on the search for Caitlin and of course checks the lab. The locks were open as usual, so he opens the door silently looking around to see if he spotted Dr. Snow.

No sign of her, but there is a familiar face, looking distressed as always. You aren't due for a scheduled visit yet, Lab Monkey. His supplies were actually still in a good amount since this wasn't really an even for him to utilize them... but with this truth-telling running rampant, he does have some questions for you.

Hey, lucky for you now he won't have to integrate you now. He walks up right beside Fitz and taps his shoulder, before innocently asking.]

What is S.H.I.E.L.D.?

He hates this so much.

[hypoxic]

[Fitz doesn't notice Damian's quiet ninja feet, again left unawares until the boy is close enough to touch. It sends him jumping with a yelp, whirling around to face the intruder -- and then looking down when there's nothing at eye level.]

You -- don't you have anything better to do than ask about a federal bureau that doesn't exist here?

[Damn it. He'd been hoping the rush of honesty might take its time for once.]

Aw, but why Fitz? Everyone loves a good story time.

Possibly. I was looking for Dr. Snow, so that might be considered as a better use of my time, but I'd rather be doing this.

[Damian says because, well, it wasn't a lie. He wasn't having any luck finding Dr. Snow and he wasn't sure if her condition required assistance or if she'd better served to have some alone time. While SHIELD was a fairly new discovery for him and Damian always enjoyed a little learning.]

So it's a government agency but it doesn't exist here. [So why didn't he tell him that when he asked... unless.] Are there more agents from it here?

You'd rather be making a nuisance of yourself? So it seems.

[Caitlin's condition is a longterm concern for all her friends. They're working with it as best as possible. His eyes widen at the continued pressure. He struggles to find a suitable response that won't betray him.]

I'm not the only one from my world here, no.

Damian's never cared for the opinion of others anyway. So it's cool!

Not a nuisance to myself and that's what's important here. [Obviously.]

And are they all part of this SHIELD? [Damian sees Fitz trying to hold stuff back and having time to think. Maybe if he asks stuff faster and maybe tap into his emotional responses.] Do any of them have powers? Are they all as pathetic as you in combat? If so how is your world not blown up by now?

[hypoxic]

Not all. [He stammers, and then the flood of questions quickly becomes overwhelming.] W-well yes, but -- Pathetic?? I really don't think that's a fair question -- I've not yet finished letting it be destroyed.

[His cheeks burn hotly after the last of it slips out, and he pushes away from the desk.]

I'm not interested in doing this with you today.

[sonofab]

Utterly pathetic. [Damian doesn't move, watching the man get flustered. That last answer was a strange one...]

Too bad... What did you mean by that?

[hypoxic]

[At least this question is an ambiguous enough one.]

I mean that your incessant questions are too much for me today. There's enough on my plate without having to worry about a tiny enemy agent undermining my effectiveness.

[sonofab]

[Don't get cute Lab monkey. He isn't put off in the slightest. If anything he moves a chair over and has a seat.]

Enemy agent? [Really?] Everyone is having a lousy day today. What is loading up yours? What are you working on?

[hypoxic]

You're trained. Potentially hyperintelligent. There's only one sort of organization that has use for assassins as young as you.

[The child asks too many questions.]

Flattering. [Damian drawls at the description.]

And what organization do you think that is? [Because your paranoia might even rival his own here and that provides him endless amusement, Mr. Fitz.]

Given that we come from different worlds, it's doubtful that they might go be the same name. But good people don't turn children into weapons.

[Which means you, small thing, are working for the wrong side.]

Not the exact same no, but they could be similar. Like Star labs, while I come from a different world than Dr. Snow, the two organizations in both our worlds are almost identical. [He gives a small shrug.]

They weren't good people, no, but who says I'm still working for them?
