Summary: A catch all for the Horrible Memory Truth Event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, everyone's entire room will be replaced with a memory playing on loop. They will likely recognize the moment as soon as they see it – it is a moment they remember as the worst moment of their entire lives. It could be a memory from home or something that happened in Wonderland. Lengths of the memories will vary, but they will find that these are not memories they can merely watch – they can step into these memories and attempt to make changes to them, and the memories will be long enough that they have time to make changes (though no more than 24 hours). However, anyone who tries will find that it is futile. No matter what you do or how hard you try, the outcome is always exactly the same somehow. No changes you make will prevent that horrible outcome. It just happens over and over and over again no matter what you do.

On top of that, perhaps complicating any attempts to make changes, everyone will be forced to be honest for the duration of the event. No lies or half-truths are allowed, and filters will be gone for the entire five days. If something bothers someone then they will blurt it out, regardless of whether or not it hurts someone's feelings, and no one will be able to simply keep quiet when they have something to say. They must be truthful and honest with every word they say.

This is a catch-all log for all of your Worst Memory needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and Room Number + Floor for character rooms, or just location if you're making a top level for a public place in the mansion (like the tea rooms or the kitchen) so people can see if there's already a thread available. [Undyne shoots to her feet, eyes wild, breathing heavy breaths that sound almost like she's hyperventilating.]

WE'RE REALLY GOING OUT!?!?!?

[She stutters a few more starts to similarly screamed questions, but she doesn't even know what she wants to say. She has entirely shut down.]

[Alphys just shrieks as Undyne yells, going ass over head backwards off the beanbag pile in some combo of a jump, a somersault, and what happens when someone utterly fails both of those movements. It takes a few seconds before her head pokes out from the edge of the pile, just showing her head spines and eyes, glasses off-kilter.]

I, uh, w-we were, uhm, where I come from, and...

[And she would leave it there if she could, but she can't, so she goes a deeper red as she keeps going, flush traveling towards the visible parts of her.]

And we were here, too, uhm. Before you left. The pictures are from an old event we celebrated together. I thought I lost them forever.

I... t-thought I might've lost you forever.

It really happened... I sent my letter... We were dating...

[Undyne is just... in a daze, trying to process this information.]

H-Have we... kissed????

[She's imagined it so many times. She knows she's embarrassing herself by saying everything she doesn't want to say but she also needs to know??]

I mean, dammit, we... I always loved you, Alphys! And I never got to say anything! Every time we hung out I thought about it! And then you were gone!!! I think about you all the time! You're so hot!!!

[She covers her face, blue scales flushed.]

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M JUST SAYING IT!!

[Honestly, she just wants to scream instead of words, not because she has nothing to say but because she knows she'll mess it up if she talks. Unfortunately, the event isn't gonna let that stand, so now she's talking and yelling. Romantic!]

Undyne! I've had a crush on you since the day we met! But I thought you'd never accept me so I lied about stuff like-- l-like anime is just cartoons, it's not history! I'm just a nerd who doesn't deserve someone as cool and amazing as you but for some reason you like me anyway, and, and I love you s-so much!

[She's just got her hands pressed to her face now, blush having entirely overtaken it, trying to stop herself but utterly failing.]

You've forgiven me for every bad thing I've done and you still want to spend time with me and I didn't know how to tell you when you didn't remember because I thought you might not love me and I was t-too scared!!!

Anime is-- Anime isn't history!?? But... sword girls...

[Wait, this isn't the important part of this!! Undyne shakes her head to clear it, she's gonna tackle this whole thing about anime not being real later, right now she's got a possible(??) relationship(???) to deal with.]

NGAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT! ALPHYS, YOU'RE AMAZING!!! I WANT TO KISS YOU RIGHT NOW!!!

[Undyne just looks at Alphys, wild eyed and breathing hard, announcing that she wants to kiss Alphys but not moving to do anything about it. She's frozen in place.]

[Listen buddy, if you're waiting for Alphys of all people to make a move, thats's certainly not happening.]

I WANTED TO KISS YOU WHEN YOU SHOWED UP BUT I KNEW YOU DIDN'T KNOW SO I COULDN'T JUST DO THAT!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU EVER WANT TO KISS ME THAT'S T-TOTALLY AMAZING AND WE SHOULD DO IT.

[And yet. She's still just sitting there. Entirely terrified.]

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW, BUT I CAN'T STOP YELLING AND I'M KIND OF TERRIFIED STILL??

I CAN'T STOP YELLING EITHER!!!

[Okay.

She's gonna do it.

She's gotta.

Undyne marches over to Alphys, scoops her up and lifts her up and stares at her with wide, wild eyes.

Then she takes the plunge and smacks her mouth against Alphys's. Their teeth instantly knock together but Undyne is too determined right now to let that stop her.

She continues to yell, muffled against Alphys' mouth.]

W'RE K'SS'N!!

[Honestly, as soon as their lips meet, Alphys just. Yells. It's not words, it's not anything, it's just a stream of A's because she Won't Stop Screaming and that is every emotion she has.

In a maybe slightly-less-awkward motion, she does cling a little bit to Undyne's shirt, so she's not just in her arms like a limp noodle being smooched. Finally, she finds some words, even if it's messed up through the liplock.]

I loff you! So much!

[ngah]

[SHE SAID SHE LOVES HER.

Undyne just starts yelling more, muffled against Alphys' lips.]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAILOVEYOUTOO!!!!

[She is so overwhelmed right now.]

[Undyne says it back. Undyne says I love you back. It's happening. She's not-- alone anymore, Undyne's here and didn't know her confession before but still loves her all the same oh my god oh my god oh my god--

Her blush has entirely encompassed her face. Is she conscious? That's entirely debatable. In fact, she just kind of... collapses, in Undyne's arms. She thinks she's awake. Maybe.

This is like, the best day of her life. Bar none.]

[So much of Undyne's recent life has felt unreal. In the past year, she's lost most of her closest friends, including her crush, lost her house, lost her job, lost everything... and she's also had those friends returned to her, gone to the Surface, been toyed with by a mansion full of humans, struggled feeling like she's still at the lowest point of her life... and now she's in love and kissing someone who means so much to her.

It's been a rollercoaster, to say the least.

Undyne pulls away finally and looks lovingly at Alphys' red face. She's sure hers is red, too. She wants to hide it, but more than that, she wants to see her right now.]

This isn't gonna go away? You're not gonna change your mind?? It's not just the event???

[Thankfully for Alphys, she is actually not dead, because she wants to keep having more of this and not dying. Her face is still entirely encompassed by blush, but she can't possibly stop smiling.]

No, it's-- no it's not!! We were dating, uhm-- back h-home! Did I tell you that? Ohmygod I forget if I told you that, it's-- yeah!!!

[ngah]

WE WERE ALREADY DATING????

[Undyne's entire neck, shoulders, and head go beet red.]

Not... Not just here? Back home?? You mean... all that time, and I could've just...

[Undyne falters a bit, flush fading.]

I thought... All the time, I thought maybe if I'd told you sooner, it would've changed something...!

[Did it actually? In some timeline down the road, did confessing to Alphys save her life?]

[If not for Wonderland forcing the truth out of her, she would have NO ability to say anything at this point. Already, she sputters a bit before she can make any coherent thought.]

Yeah, I mean, you-- you sent me a letter, but got Frisk to deliver it, and I thought it was them so we w-went on a date and you found us! And then I had to tell you I was lying about anime being real and human history and all sorts of stuff!

[FUCK. Alphys immediately looks mortified.]

[Undyne clutches her head. The revelations that are happening right now are starting to be too much.

Normally, she wouldn't ask, wouldn't let on the suspicion, but she blurts it out before she can even think about that.]

Did you... lie about anything else??

[Undyne saw her on TV. She saw her lie about Mettaton to the human.]

[OH GOD THIS IS BAD THIS IS SO BAD but she can't stop herself from talking, so...]

So much! I don't know anything about real humans! I'm just a nerd who lied so you'd like me! Mettaton isn't a human defense robot, he was just helping me so I could be friends with them-- h-hell, I didn't even really make Mettaton's s--

[And she smacks her hands over her mouth. Oh no. Oh noooo this is not her secret to tell, oh fuck, oh hell. Once she's yelled the rest of that sentence out in a muffled scream, she comes back to actually speak again.]

I'm so sorry Undyne, I just-- I'm sorry! Please don't hate me, I didn't mean it, I j-just-- I didn't think you'd like me for who I really was. But I've been trying to do better!
