Summary: A catch all for the Horrible Memory Truth Event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, everyone's entire room will be replaced with a memory playing on loop. They will likely recognize the moment as soon as they see it – it is a moment they remember as the worst moment of their entire lives. It could be a memory from home or something that happened in Wonderland. Lengths of the memories will vary, but they will find that these are not memories they can merely watch – they can step into these memories and attempt to make changes to them, and the memories will be long enough that they have time to make changes (though no more than 24 hours). However, anyone who tries will find that it is futile. No matter what you do or how hard you try, the outcome is always exactly the same somehow. No changes you make will prevent that horrible outcome. It just happens over and over and over again no matter what you do.

On top of that, perhaps complicating any attempts to make changes, everyone will be forced to be honest for the duration of the event. No lies or half-truths are allowed, and filters will be gone for the entire five days. If something bothers someone then they will blurt it out, regardless of whether or not it hurts someone's feelings, and no one will be able to simply keep quiet when they have something to say. They must be truthful and honest with every word they say.

This is a catch-all log for all of your Worst Memory needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and Room Number + Floor for character rooms, or just location if you're making a top level for a public place in the mansion (like the tea rooms or the kitchen) so people can see if there's already a thread available. [Those were the wrong words to say, because the moment Mirrorton hears them his face turns very grave.]

Then I will make you afraid.

[The encounter is initiated and he advances, intent on blasting her out of his way. If she dies? Even better.]

[WAKEY WAKEY BIG MISTAKEY. She shrieks, unsure of how to actually make this situation better. Maybe he-- he probably wouldn't hit Mettaton, right? Could she hide? No, then he'd still get out. Maybe she can-- just--]

I'll come b-back and get you Mettaton! I swear!

*FLEE

[And she just ducks around the door, slamming it right in his face.]

[Alphys slams the door shut and Mirrorton, after a brief pause of shock, laughs bright and cruel.]

Ever the coward, my dear Alphys! When I get my hands on you, you'll learn what true fear is!

[He grabs the door and wrenches it open, not caring if it potentially throws her into the hallway. He steps out, mouth open to say something-

And promptly disappears. The hallway is empty and if Alphys looks back into the room, Mettaton is once more on top of the bed, lying as if asleep.]

[She shrieks as the door rips open, pressing herself backwards on her hands and knees in a backwards sort of crabwalk until she hits the opposite wall, looking at him intently. She's cringing as he steps forward, and then--

Nothing. It's just... gone.

She stops for a moment before scrambling upwards, sticking her head back in the door. The scene... stopped? Changed? Is it over?

... Maybe she's not waiting around to find out.

Alphys sprints inward, grabs Mettaton's arm, and makes a real attempt to drag him to the door.]

H-Hey, wake up, we have to go, we have to go right now, right now!!!!

[mettatonvevo]

[Mettaton is yanked upwards and he gives a loud yelp at the sudden movement. He sits up and pulls away, hissing at Alphys.]

Alphys! No, it's all right, this isn't really happening! Sort of. It happened before. But I can change it. There's no need to be worried.

[He sounds so sure since he believes it right now but uh.... he's in for a rude awakening.]

[sciencelizard]

[She looks at him helplessly for a moment, pulled back just enough to look at him, and then starts tugging again.]

No!! If it's n-not real then why do you want to change it so much?? Come on, we have to go before he gets here!! We can get out!!

[mettatonvevo]

[Mettaton huffs in frustration, not moving an inch.]

It's real but it's not real, and that's why it needs to be changed! I need proof that my mirror won't do this again!
