Who: Wendy and you
Where: All around the mansion
When: Through the rest of December
Rating: PGish maybe?
Summary: Wendy is around the mansion, both singing and then around very low in the mansion. Also, welcome Wendy's mirror playing around.
A: Winter Wonderland
Wendy has done fairly well without snacking on the building, only bits and pieces here and there. Until the cookies. She should have known better, even in the short time she's been in Wonderland.
Which leads to her singing the first day they were left out. Bright and slightly off key tones, but truly throwing herself into it as she made her way around the mansion. It was actually a lot of fun, which leads to her trying a second cookie...
And she finds herself four inches tall. Well, that didn't go well! Here's to not being smashed by a mastodon, or stepped on by others.
B: Merry Christmas
Wendy is so excited that Mae, or someone, had gone along with the Christmas present idea. Getting her assignment and name, she is truly excited to do this. Even if she hasn't any idea what to do. She doesn't play an instrument like the clarinet, but then she has an idea.
Spending several days in the library, she puts them together based on her day or so about four inches tall. In the end, she leaves a small box on Wirt's doorstep. Inside are several fairly tiny books that she managed to put together herself, written in neat, small print and with her own drawings. One talks about unicorns, and just what kind of jerks they actually are. Another is about the Mystery Shack. The third covers crazy old people ghosts. Maybe it isn't obscure history, but it's history from her world and it might mean the same. She did her best to write them in poetic lines, so they basically kind of come off like rap lyrics. About unicorns, and Stan, and spirits.
C: I'm sorry that people are so jealous of me
Well well, Wendy's mirror definitely can't help herself when the queen opens things up. Or the other queen. Or who the hell knows. She just cares that things were opened up for them and she's excited for it. Giving her hair a toss and a fresh quote of gloss, she heads out into mansion, nibbling on a bit of the wall as she goes, looking for familiar faces from her "memories", as well as those seen through mirrors with her Real self. Might be nice to get to know them.

"What was that...?"

"Down here, Dude!" Okay that squeak? She's never going to live that down, is she?

...
...
...
"HUUUUUUUUUUUUUH?!" She shrieks, genuinely startled by TINY WENDY.

[She thinks. She hasn't seen a mirror yet!]
OH GOD, AM I ME?
[She's yelling but its still a tiny voice.]

What if I don't change back?

B.
He's not sure what he expected from his secret Santa when he can barely stammer out what he likes on a good day. His interests and weird and specific and he's honestly not expecting much. But...these books are actually really cool. He gets sucked in immediately and soon enough he gets so distracted that he just sits down on the floor outside his door, carefully thumbing through each tiny tome. They're all interesting, and whoever gave them to him obviously put in like a ton of work.
The one about the Mystery Shack makes him wonder if it might have come from Dipper, but...no, that doesn't seem like him, and he's pretty sure a joint effort between him and Mabel would be cheating at Secret Santa. ...Though, he supposes they aren't above that.

So when she sees Wirt finding them, flipping through them, she can't help but to sneak out. By sneaking just strolling down the hallway like she's just passing through.
"Nice reading nook, Dude. Making a library?"
Yeah, that was cool, right?
no subject
"Wh-what? No! No, I just--" He stammers, struggling to make real words happen...and utterly fails. "...I-I don't know. Someone left me these little books, and I just got really into them..."
He's very embarrassed, and he looks down at the cute little books in his palms. He doesn't seem to realize that she's the one who gave him this gift in the first place. For all he knows, she's just some cool girl who was wandering by.

She's totally right about people tripping though, so he stands up. She has a couple inches on him once he's on his feet. Wirt still holds his books gently in his hands.
...Then, the rest of it finally sinks in.
"Wait, what? Surviving the apocalypse?"
no subject
Nodding though at that question. "Not really an apocalypse, but my dad believes in us practicing for it so that when the time comes, we're prepared. So that's what we do over Christmas break."
no subject
"Neat. I-I mean, I probably couldn't hack something like that, but it's still cool," he says. "So...are you prepared now, you think?"
He's a little awkward, but he's trying to joke about it.
no subject
"So I've learned a lot, but not enough to make this place easy. Which is better than just sitting it out, I guess." She's too used to taking on challenges.
no subject
It slowly dawns on him, and he holds up the first of the tiny books he was given - the one primarily about unicorns.
"Wait, are these from you?" he asks. "Were you my Secret Santa?"
no subject
"What? Me? I mean, if they were from me, then it wouldn't be so secret anymore, would it?" Her lips nearly twitch into a smile. "But seriously? Jerks. All of them. Well all of them that I may have met and totally not written about," she adds.
no subject
"I guess not...w-wait, I put my name on the one I gave out," he suddenly remembers. "Was I not supposed to do that? I thought we-- nevermind."
He assumed he was supposed to reveal himself at the end, but it sounds like he did it wrong. At least Steven was okay with it?
"A-Anyway, uh. Yeah, I've heard that from Mabel and Dipper, actually," he says. "They've told me a lot about Gravity Falls, though it's pretty cool to hear it from someone else's perspective."
no subject
What? She had to maintain cool here, even if it's just for her own sake.
"I've lived there my whole life. It's pretty cool, and it only tries to kill you every few mont... no, it's about like this," she says. At least now that she's seeing things for what they are, she gets it is like Wonderland.
no subject
"Oh," he says, feeling a little dumb for it himself. "...Well. I think they're really cool gifts. A-And it would be cool if I knew who they were from so I could like, tell them? But I guess they'll never know now."
He smiles back though, because he's about eighty percent sure it's her, and that he did get to say so.
"We went there for an event once," he adds, hastily. "I uh. Had to get...rescued. From gnomes."
no subject
"Surprised we really have much met before now," she says. "Not like this place is that big, after all. You don't go by the teen center much?" Not that she did as much as she should, but most of the time she spent lurking on roofs and learning archery so maybe she should hang out more with those around her own age.
no subject
He shrugs, hoping that was clear enough. Weirdly, it's mention of the teen center makes him a little more nervous. Should he be going there?
"O-Oh, uh. No, not really?" He tries to make it sound a little cooler, the way she seems to exude coolness. It definitely doesn't work. "It's just, uh. It's not really my thing. Yeah. Totally."
no subject
She's met those that knew her before as well, and Wendy still isn't sure how to handle that.
"Oh well, yeah. I get that. I'm an outdoors girl myself. Been learning archery and how to fire a gun. You know, handy stuff for around this place."
A!
Finally making it to her door, they rap on it a few times before quickly leaving the line of sight. They still stick around the hallways, just to see if she likes the present or not. Is she home...?
no subject
A few minutes later something very small might be seen scurrying up the tree. Getting closer it might be obvious that it's a tiny redheaded girl climbing over the branches as she might have outdoors.
no subject
They look down at the tree, about to set it down, when all of a sudden, the redhead pops out from the tree!
"Woah!!" they cried out, almost losing their balance. Thankfully, they managed to maintain it - and the tree as well. That would be bad if they were to drop the tree and Wendy with it!
"My apologies, you startled me!" they then say bashfully. Oh my, how embarrassing!
no subject
"Oh. Oh. I'm sorry. I'm just embracing the fact that stupid cookies are stupid," she said, trying to project her voice to be heard. "Is this for me?"
C and B bc wtf not If it's not too late for Wendying
It's excessively wrapped, because, what? Girls like that shit, right? His wife used to un knot every bit of ribbon and string as though she was defusing a damn bomb, so he figured that's just something females liked. If so, the wrapping should keep her busy for a good long while.
((ooc my thought process is Mirror Wendy comes out of the door of Wendy's room idk lmk if this doesn't work/seems stupid))
Never too late for Frank things
A sound outside the door makes her pause, assuming it's her real. Already she's been through her wardrobe, toyed with things she's found and if she's intentionally broken a few things, well, what else is she supposed to do to the girl that gets this side of things?
When the door doesn't open, curiosity gets the better of her and Wendy moves to open the door. She might nearly look like the Wendy Frank knows. If not for the way she's curled her hair, has the flannel shirt she snagged from Wendy knotted to bare her midriff for a few inches and wearing kitten heels with her skinny jeans rather than boots or sneakers.
"Hi." Her gaze drops down to the package and then back up to Frank's face with a bright smile, trying to play coy even if she knows she isn't at all pulling off the Wendy everyone would know. "For me?"
HURRAY
Like, even worse than handing a firearm over to a teenaged girl.
But this...was not the teenaged girl he'd expected. "Your, uh. Roommate here?" Because, yeah, teenaged girls had roommates. That seemed normal.
no subject
God, if she had to listen and watch the girl going on and on over some guy that threw himself, and Wendy, down a mountain one more time, she was going to shatter her own side of the mirror.
