They've never been a teacher before. Not for this, and not for very much else. They teach themself, most of the time, rather than ask for help directly. They know better, than to ask for help. Than to call for help.

They almost look like they're about to say yes when a spanner enters the mental sketch of that first plan, and their brow furrows.

"...I'm not sure the closets would give us one that works." It would, after all, be made up of candy, wouldn't it?

Asriel... kinda forgot about that. Not that he wanted to play a guitar up until this very second. A candy guitar sounds a little less cool.

"Oh, that's right! Umm... maybe I could watch you play, and memorize what you do until the closets can give me a real instrument?"

Is he good at memorizing? ...they suppose he must be. He must have memorized countless reams of dialogue from every run, from across every timeline, and been able to recite it back flawlessly.

A moment of patient consideration, head to one side, and Frisk finally slips the strap from around their shoulder and holds the instrument out to him.
