Summary: Catch-all log for the event! ♫ Have you ever wanted to defeat zombies with an idol through the power of song? Now is your chance!
The Story:

i. My prayers and love are a Daydream

[ Another day, another event. She kept telling herself that no matter what Wonderland threw at her, she wasn't going to fall for it and made a promise that she would stay strong.

But then all those thoughts immediately fly out the window when she's greeted by four very familiar girls. Upon seeing them, she's overcome with many different emotions. They are part of Sayaka's idol group and out of everyone from her home world, they were the ones she held most dear in her heart. In the back of her mind, she knew that this was all some sort of fantasy she wanted but she still couldn't help but desire to spend time with them.

In Sayaka's fantasy, she's dressed up in a frilly pink idol dress and is singing a song on an extravagant stage with her friends. To anyone that might be in the audience, she cheerfully waves and greets anyone with her most radiant smile. ]

Thank you so much for attending the concert! I couldn't have done this without my friends singing with me. Is anyone ready for an encore?

ii. With my back against a dark wall, I will sharpen my senses for battle

[ Of course, all good things must come to an end. What better way to ruin her fantasy than a zombie attack? It's always those darn zombies.

Normally, she would be running away and doing whatever she can to avoid getting bitten. In a weird way, she was almost becoming used to this. Still, she wishes she could be useful during an event, she felt bad about having to constantly run away and not do a single thing to help anyone.

Lady luck seemed to have granted that wish of hers. Just when things were looking grim, Sayaka comes across a karaoke machine...?

It was time to give those zombies hell. Armed with the karaoke machine and a fierce look of determination, she sings into the microphone. One person isn't going to be enough, so she could use some help. Or should she spot anyone that's in danger, she will immediately rush over to anyone's aid with the power of karaoke. ]

[ After she helps her up, she smiles and curiously looks at the confetti cannon in awe. ]

Still! That's a huge help. Even delaying them can make a difference.

[ Alphys being able to tinker with someone is an amazing talent on her own and Sayaka knew she couldn't do anything like that. ]

Oh! Well, I learned that if you sing into them you are able to stop them. However, it seems like my singing alone isn't enough to completely be rid of them...

Singing??

[That makes no sense. She had THOUGHT they looked like karaoke machines, but that didn't seem correct given context.]

How do you stop them with... singing??

Well, you sing into these karaoke machines!

[ She holds it up. Although, she totally understands why Alphys would have some reservations about it. The idea was rather strange. ]

It's a little strange and truthfully, I wouldn't have believed it either if I didn't try it out myself. Someone brought it up over network feed. I haven't been able to fully defeat them with my voice alone but it is enough to stun them.

Oh...

[Well, then she's just as useless as ever during these events. She can't sing! She's ruined!]

Does it have to be, uhm, live s-singing? Could it be a recording? I can't really, uh, I mean I'm not good at all that...

Ah... w-well, I never did think about a recording.

[ Would that work? It could but for some reason, she had a feeling that it wouldn't. ]

Hmm, I'm not sure if it would work. I don't think it would? [ Then again who even knows with Wonderland. ] I'm sure you'll be fine, Alphys-san! I'd love to hearing your singing voice. This isn't the best circumstance for it but I would enjoy singing a duet with you.

[Gosh, her blush is going to kill her faster than the zombies. She sputters a bit, tapping her little claws together.]

I mean, I-- I'm really not a good singer. Not to say you're making a bad choice in me! I just, uhm, I don't want to... drag you down??

[Especially when Sayaka is soooo good. She'll certainly mess it up.]

[ Oh no that blush is really cute!! Her smile widens and she's practically beaming as she gives her a reassuring pat on her tiny shoulder. ]

You're not going to drag me down! If anything, I won't be able to do this without you, Alphys-san.

[ Though she might be a good singer, there's no way her voice was powerful enough to take on these zombies by herself. ]

I believe in you and I'm sure we'll make a fantastic team.

[Alphys can't help but smile at her resounding positivity-- she doesn't want to ruin this for her. She goes to speak again, but it becomes a shriek as she points behind Sayaka. Four zombies are shambling forward, and Alphys steps back instinctively, before looking at the karaoke machine.]

Okay, I, uh-- how d-does this work! I don't know if we even know the same songs, ohmygod--

[idolings]

Ah!

[ When she sees the zombies coming their way, she lets out a small gasp. It's scary, but she had to stand her ground and be brave. She had Alphys by her side and with her, she was certain they would be able to stun the zombies. ]

T-That's okay if we don't! What sorts of songs do you know? I'll follow your lead.

[She drops down next to the machine, trying to program in a song, completely not sure how to do this.]

Uh-- anime theme songs?? I d-don't know-- I mean, I listen to jpop but I don't really know Japanese!

[Sorry Sayaka. She's a weeb.]
